Sacred Radiance
In Sacred Radiance, I return to the inner terrain, where form dissolves into energy, and the seen meets the unseen. This body of work is a continuation of my mining series, now illuminated by gestures, pigments, and a deeper invocation of ancestral memory. Each sculpture unfolds like a mantra in motion- gestural forms that hold breath and silence, tension and release. The spaces carved between curves are not voids, but living presences, portals of absence that invite stillness, reflection, and possibility. Color moves like energy across the work. Seven chromatic echoes, drawn from the spectrum of self, shimmer across the surfaces of my new addition of sculpture. The spectrum is not decorative, but alchemical: a meditation on how inner frequency shapes outer form. The pedestals are painted in the deep red earth of Nepal, a hue drawn from the ritual painting of village homes, where soil becomes sacred during festivals and transitions. This grounding red is more than a foundation, it is a prayer whispered through generations, now holding contemporary form. Threaded through the work are the marigolds, not in bloom, but in spirit. In Nepal, they are offerings, tokens of devotion, celebration, and reverence. Here, their shifting shades of yellow and saffron speak to enlightenment as the dawning of awareness, the warmth of divine presence. At the center stands a singular, monumental form—larger than the rest, yet still. It holds the weight of the series, yet floats in meaning. This sculpture embodies the truth that we are more than our flesh-bound shape, we are vast, luminous, and immeasurable. We are energy, rhythm, and light, pulsing just beyond the limits of perception. Sacred Radiance is a quiet celebration of that inner expanse, an invitation to remember what lies within the folds of breath, ritual, and spirit.
